Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Cary will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in North Carolina usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Cary is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Cary is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share this experience. Overall, the food was great, and we truly enjoyed our meal. Our server was outstanding, friendly, attentive, professional, and consistently made sure we had everything we needed. The only disappointing part of our visit was witnessing a male manager with tattoos speaking very harshly to her in front of guests on multiple occasions. While I understand that managing a restaurant can be stressful, those conversations seemed better suited for a private setting. As a customer, it was uncomfortable to witness and took away from an otherwise excellent dining experience. Our server remained calm, courteous, and professional throughout it all, which made us appreciate her even more. She handled the situation with grace and continued to provide exceptional service. I hope this feedback is received in the spirit it’s intended. The restaurant has a lot to offer, and I simply hope management continues to foster a respectful and supportive environment for both employees and guests.

We were there on the rooftop for the bubbles and brunch from noon to three. For starters don’t bother reserving a table for $20 because they will not reserve a table for you. It is first come first serve. The bartender was fine just seemed a little overworked, and the girl that was working with him didn’t seem to know what she was doing and was rather rude. Food was subpar, powdered eggs, bacon, sausage, some fruit. Some shrimp and grits with very Mushy shrimp. The champagne was fine, but the girl who was waiting on us, did not want to bring us small cups of orange juice and cranberry juice to make our own mimosas, even though we saw other people with their mixer on the table. All in all not a great experience and we would not go back nor recommend. Plenty of other places that are much better.

Ava Rooftop Bar was the perfect spot for our welcome party! The space, views, and overall atmosphere were amazing, and it was such a fun way to kick off our wedding weekend. The team was great to work with and made everything easy and enjoyable.

This is a really nice rooftop bar. I’ve been twice, once for the holiday pop up and once just on a regular night. The cocktails are good and priced around 15$ generally. The Christmas pop up was so cute! Lots of decorations and igloos. They had blankets at all the seats and it was super cozy. We did not have a reservation because it was a Sunday, so we walked up and payed the cover. Overall it was pricey with the cost of drinks and the cover, but it’s a special event so I wasn’t too shocked. Overall a really nice space!

First off I want to admit my fault in the awful experience I had. I was expecting to have dinner and drinks but this is definitely a bar with "upscale" bar food. The concept is nice on paper but the vision is poor executed. Before I get into the drawbacks I hit a few highlights first. #1 parking is a breeze and the area of town is nice. #2 the atmosphere is nice a quite for a bar. #3 our waitress was pleasant. Now for the cons. #1 signage is poor and it was difficult to figure out where to enter the building. You go through another bar downstairs and take an elevator which is more like a service elevator because it took forever and when it did finally come their were two employees on it with a huge trash bin. Luckily the bin was empty or we sure would have left right away. #2 there was no one at the host area to greet us and it was very stuffy #3 the seat can't be to code all the tablets were super low and where we sat felt like being sat at the kid's table at the family gathering. I'm 5'7 and the table was resting on my legs. #4 the drinks were blah, flavorless and too sugary #5 the food was blah as well the grilled pita was cold and the $19 dollar lamb sausage kabob plate was not
